This coming weekend, starting on Friday 18th July is the annual Mara festival of cricket and once again 2020 Marketing are supporting the event through both participation and sponsorship funding.
This unique event will see 6 teams of cricketers, of various abilities, battle it out for the coveted trophy. Ably supported by family and friends, it is sure to be a great social weekend. Surely there cannot be a more spectacular backdrop to a cricket event anywhere in the world than the Olerai Cricket Oval in the Maasai Mara, where the players and spectators will rub shoulders with the local wildlife.
But apart from the fun element it is also about giving back to the local community who host us over the weekend. The event has always supported the local community with significant funding going to the Emarti Primary and Secondary schools and towards local conservation through the Mara Elephant Protection scheme (MEP). 2020 Marketing are delighted to be in a position to assist the Mara Festival of Cricket continue their fantastic work in these areas.
